Although I was born an actor, I was not born a drummer. I did not pick up drumming until I was about fifteen years old. My step brother Wesley had a drum kit and one day I decided to hop on and give it a go. I was horrible and my parents could not stand the noise. However, just like acting, I kept practicing each day. With the help of YouTube I finally mastered the art of laying down a simple beat. Drumming is a passion of mine. I prefer playing the drums over any other instrument because the drums require you to use your entire body. I am a very physical actor, and having an instrument that uses my whole body keeps my mind and my reflexes sharp.
